is there a big difference between semi sweet and milk chocolate chips?

BB question : Is there a big difference between semi sweet chocolate chips and milk I want to make cookies, but I get the chocolate chips ie milk and semi-sweet recipe is a big difference if I use milk chocolate chips Best answer:?

semisweet is exactly as it sounds ….. partially soft. Milk chocolate is like a candy bar. Dark chocolate is not, almost no sugar. You can use whatever you want.
