Yes, I know … I tend to dwell on the same chocolate recipes. For a while it was Michel Richard “Kit Cat” that was quick and easy solution for a number of parties I had to attend. Well, this is the cake melted chocolate, 1992, I know it. But hey, we are in 2006, almost 2007, and is not retro back? Forgive me, but I have a href = “http://www.flickr.com/photos/ulteriorepicure/332844325/in/set-72057594063870627/”> But this time, instead of banana rum raisin ice cream, I made a fig ice cream and Pedro Ximenez. I served this dessert with the same Alvear PX Solera 1927 I used to soak the figs poOù I had the idea of an ice cream? Honestly, Jean Georges, the father also href = “http://www.flickr.com/photos/ulteriorepicure/119369311/in/set-72057594092797755/”> One of the best ice cream I’ve ever had was the prune href = “http://www.flickr.com/photos/ulteriorepicure/119369349/in/set-72057594092797755/”> at Jean Georges in New York. I corresponded with the restaurant pastry chef, Johnny Iuzzini, for the recipe, but there were some minor issues that I could not quite work. So I made my own – but the combination of two things I love most: chocolate and figs, and PX with figs. kewego ! Chocolate Brownies 
image Ula Gillion Ah! Chocolate brownie recipe is the best in the family favorites. These are additional chocolate slightly crispy outside and the inside is filled with gooey chocolate left. Always a winner. Served with strawberries, vanilla ice cream and fresh mint.
