What can I add to melting chocolate to make it a harder coating?

question RDK : What can I add melted chocolate in a harder coating store-bought chocolate cookies not easily melt in your hands? but when I tried to melt chocolate for that purchase, they are not quite dry and hard. This coating or “fudge” use best answer is?

A little paraffin … very little!
