What make a good cake for a cake auction, to raise money for charity?

topic carla : What is a good cake to make for a cake auction, to raise money for charity I’m an experienced cook, but very well with the decor. I can not bake a cake on “sign up” all the lists as “good” but: red velvet, carrot cake, German chocolate, Italian cream, all kinds of pound cake, etc. Any ideas for something else that’s really good, but not too difficult? !
