What to do in New York City in the Spring?
willn2pleaze question : What to do in New York in the spring I would like to take my wife to New York for its 40th Birthday, and I’m looking ideas on where to go and what to do. We plan to 30 April (his birthday) to go over the weekend. Any suggestions would be useful for Best Answer:

I recently stayed at the Hilton around 35th and 5 and it was okay. Not great, but everything is expensive, so if you are on a budget, I recommend it. Years ago we stayed at the Renaissance Times Square New Year’s Eve and it was great …. but a little cher.Mon favorite thing to do is to take my wife for a carriage ride in Central Park, then buy the coffee and the New York Times and read on a bench in Central Park, The Met is always a good choice for the afternoon. Could be that your wife shopping in Soho … many interesting shops and some of them are not expensive. Lunch at Dean & Deluca or Union Square. If you are in the books, visit the NYU bookstore universitaire.Dans the evening, go to the top of the Empire State Building and look around, take pictures and kiss. Then take a taxi to Little Italy and find a few tables outside to eat pasta and drink peroni.Le day go to Times Square and buy tickets for a Broadway show, then to Ellis Iceland and the statue go freedom. In the evening, dinner Jean Jaques “Benoit New York” (60 W. 55th … about 2 blocks from Broadway), then go to the show. Then a little bar-hopping in NYC so endlessly.
