How can I make a candy coating chocolate from scratch?
laura_paura question : How to make a chocolate coating of basic I have a recipe that calls for cake candy coating shell. Unfortunately, I can only be found in grocery stores around the holidays. Heat the mixture until the thin paper-like skin may appear on the upper side. Do not boil. Add the chocolate and vanilla and stir until the chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool.
